President's Message

PMCQ Board Member

A new season is upon us. We’ve transformed, we’ve raised the bar, now it’s time to rediscover your PMCQ!

As I sit down to write the president’s letter, I am reminded of what first brought me to a PMCQ event. My VP and career mentor at the time encouraged me to participate in PMCQ events as a way to accelerate my integration into the pharmaceutical industry in Quebec. Oh how I thank her for that advice!

Now, 6 years later, I have seen the PMCQ deliver on a breadth of educational topics which have evolved with the times. I’ve heard high quality speakers inspire action in attendees from both a professional and a personal standpoint. I’ve developed an extensive network of colleagues from across the industry with whom I can test ideas, share challenges, innovations and celebrate our collective successes. What keeps you coming back?

As we head into our 60th year, this season’s events will shine a spotlight on development topics coupled with debates around our changing industry landscape. We’ll continue to deliver on convivial social events which foster exchange in a lively setting and there is renewed focus on building our following through enhanced Social Media presence (#myPMCQ).

My ask to you is… If you’re new to the PMCQ this season - welcome! Take it all in. Bring a friend and/or meet new friends at the events. If you’re a seasoned PMCQ attendee, take what you’ve learned and apply it in your day-to day operations and maybe use your knowledge to mentor an aspiring pharma colleague. New or seasoned, the board and I love to see you at our events. Connect with us and share your feedback so we can move closer to the goal of being your premier partner for education, career development and networking.

We look forward to re-discovering PMCQ with you throughout the season and making every connection count!
